Today was supposed to be Thaipusam and also my friend's birthday - Charles. Initially, I'm going to watch movie with Ivy at Jusco, so I asked Charles to join us. We watched All's Well End's Well 2012 "八星抱喜". After the movie, we headed to Oh Sushi @ De Garden for lunch which I treated both of them.

What an amazing and awesome day I had today - the best in my entire life. The day which I've been waiting for ages had finally arrived - Doraemon World 2012 @ Genting Highlands. I first started to know about this carnival through facebook when I saw someone posted a poster about it. The carnival was held between 23th January to 5th February 2012. I was so eager to visit this carnival as Doraemon is my childhood buddy and I'm a die-hard fan of him - having thousands of his comics and movies at home.

Nothing could stop me from meeting my greatest buddy of all time - Doraemon, even the extreme weather and huge fog on the day. Despite freezing outside the entrance, waiting for the gate to open at 10am, we managed to snap amazing shots and had a wonderful time inside the carnival.

This carnival was to commemorate 100 years before Doraemon was actually born - 3th September 2112.

For every purchase of the entry ticket to Doraemon World 2012, a limited edition Touch N Go card will be gifted. Literally, everything inside the carnival works with this card - it's like a magic card though in which every purchase of merchandise or food must be made using this card. Reloads can be made at the entrance counter and inside the carnival. Generally, the entrance fee of RM35 isn't that expensive after all. The Touch N Go card already costs RM20 and I'm awarded RM5 extra reload for buying the tickets early bird. So, basically the actual entrance fee and all the costs that allow us to snap photos inside the carnival is only RM10. It's more worthy than going Disneyland!

My journey to Doraemon World 2012 was actually guided by a pretty tour guide. She explained everything that is happening around the carnival to us clearly in Mandarin. She first guided us into the first room of the carnival - Comic World which introduces the main characters of Doraemon and also some strips of it's comics.

We actually had only limited time to take photos around the room as we are only allocated 3 minutes for each room. The lights would even dim itself after the time's up. Next room was Nobita's Room. Everything inside the room looks the same as illustrated inside the comic.

The third room was Nobita's Dining Room - consisting of Nobita, his mum and dad having dinner. Where is Doraemon?

Our final destination by the tour guide was Time Travelling Room. The room was kinda dim and all it has was a Doraemon sitting on the Time Travelling Machine. After visiting this room, the tour guide bid goodbye to us as we can walk around the carnival freely and snap all the photos that we want.

After visiting the 5 rooms, we are not allowed to turn back and visit the rooms again, but we are allowed to walk around the carnival as many times as we want. There were mini-shops where every character in Doraemon stand to allow us to snap as many photos as we want.

I manage to snap photos with most of the characters present there.

Next up, would be the Doraemon Gallery where some of Doraemon's famous gadgets are being displayed. I managed to snap almost every gadget that is being glassed there.

After visiting the Gallery, there was actually a Carnival and a Mall outside the tent. There were food and games provided with all purchases must be done using the Touch N Go card. There was also a self-customizing Touch N Go card where we can purchase our very own self-edit card.

Before leaving Doraemon World 2012, we managed to take photo with Shizuka and Giant mascots.

This concludes my Doraemon World 2012 trip in Genting. I really hope there would be a carnival like this again in the future with more things to witness and purchase. Oh, and I won a limited edition toy from Japan (according to the commentator) for answering a question correctly on stage. The question goes like this : What is the original colour of Doraemon? Yellow.

The Doraemon Piggy Bank is the one that my beloved brother, Nicholas gifted to me.

KL Outing (2012)

To start off with, I had 4 days break from attending classes in my university due to public holidays. Everything was according to plan as we headed to KL to gather up with my brother, Nicholas before we depart to Genting Highlands the next day. Charles, MJ and I spent a day in KL and overnight at Nicholas's place. That night upon arrival in KL, we hanged around Pavilion and Sungai Wang.

We had Snowflakes after the rain. The feeling was awesome!

and this amazing CNY Dragon was spotted hanging inside the main hall of Pavilion.

I also watched Viral Factor at Pavilion. The feeling was so great because the movie was actually filmed outside Pavilion and Golden Triangle. I can almost felt that Jay Chou or Nicholas Tse would ram a car into the cinema anytime.

Today, I've received my RM200 Book Vouchers after queuing some time for it. Upon receiving the vouchers, me and my friends headed to the university book store to spend our valuable vouchers. We bought books for a sum of RM140. The terms and conditions of this book voucher as stated behind:

1. This voucher is valid until 31/03/2012
2. This voucher is not exchangeable for cash
3. This voucher is not transferable to another owner
4. This voucher is not valid if the school/college/university chop is missing
5. This voucher belongs to the Malaysian government

Nothing much special today. I just went to Jusco and hang out with Charles. We watched Journey 2 - "The Mysterious Island" as Chinese New Year movies are mostly full. What's amazing about this movie is that it is starred by "The Rock" (Dwayne Johnson).

Today is officially my final day of 4 months semester break. Before returning to my usual hectic and studying life, I've decided to hang out and had gathering with my friends. Ivy, Jessmin, Hong Tat, Cheng Zheng and I went to Ipoh Parade and met up. We had our mouth watering lunch at Sushi King. Besides, we also noticed that in conjunction of the Chinese New Year celebration, Sushi King offers a Mini Yee Sang for just RM8.88, in which we ordered. Each of us toss as high as possible, whispered out our 2012 resolutions and shared a bite of the Yee Sang each.

Today is Diary Valentines Day and my dad's younger sister got married at Swiss Garden Hotel, KL. I would say my family had portrayed the spirit of 1Malaysia - my dad's elder brother's wife is a Malay while his younger sister just got married to an Indian. Thus, this completes the 3 main imperative ethnicity of Malaysia in my family - Malay, Chinese and Indian. The wedding dinner progressed lucratively with both charming groom and elegant-yet-gorgeous bride blessed with jubilation and joyfulness.

A new year have started and I've stopped working on 9th of January. My 3 months stint at Youngs, Greentown had finally ended, meaning that I've around 2 weeks to get ready to go back to studying life. As I bid farewell to my colleagues, I realized that I've learnt a lot of things during my working period - I'm more of an extrovert person now.

Besides, I also watched my first movie of the year in Jusco with Su Ann.

Cherishing Moments in 2011

From being flooded by books and papers, bashed by assignments and swamped by hectic exam schedules in my university, Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) at the end of 2010, my 2011 year started with a bang! and this whole 2011 year, it was remarkable and awesome!! This post will be my last ever post scribbled in 2011 and it will be my usual year review. Flashback, I started my blog in 2008 after browsing through some of the impressive and splendid blogs made and fashioned by my friends. The blog that actually inspired me to start a blog of my own is by my long known friend, Ivan Tan. My blog is NOT about fashioned clothes and trends, humorous comic strips nor any anti political reviews, but my blog is literally all about myself and my lifestyle, the memorable episodes that happen all around my world and my existence.

I usually do my reviews in months starting from.......

January - Delight Initiator
My year of 2011 surely start with a hit! As a scholar of Petronas, I am obligatory to attend this inaugural Soaring The Eagle (STE) Camp, held in PERMATA, Bangi for a total 6 days, from 8th to 13th of January 2011. Basically, the camp was a team-building, leadership training and skills management camp. My friends and I were overflowed with tons of excitements and knowledge throughout the camp. I am really glad to be a Petronas scholar judging by the service provided during my stay at PERMATA which is also known as Petronas Management Training Centre.

Honest speaking, I achieved splendid knowledge and acquaintance throughout this camp, which is once-in-a-lifetime experience. The memories during this camp will be kept alive forever! January was short. My life as an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student in UTP had finally started as a First Year First Semester student. Study materials had been getting harder, a nightmare! and I've already gone into the core of my studies - circuit and electronic stuffs. Classes were usual, but most of my friends from different engineering courses were separated and no longer together in the same class. However, we still met each other during non-core subject classes and leisure times.

Watching movies had now moved to be part of my life.

February - Rabbit's Offering
February is the month this year that all Chinese around the globe were thrilled to celebrate the most imperative event known as Chinese New Year. Which Chinese kid doesn't enjoy this occasion as we get to receive a mass of affluent red packets filled with riches? Reunions, gatherings and outings were typical and usual.

Besides that, I also deluged myself with numerous events in UTP in order to gain more prominence and experience. This one which I've taken part in is known as Event Management Seminar (EMS). Practically, the name of the event says-it-all - an event which teaches people how to successfully and triumphantly manage an event.

After this event, I was also involved in another event known as Red Sonata Fiesta 2 - Summer Vaganza, a Chinese orchestra event with lot's of performances and songs played and presented. Up along in this event, I was in Sponsorship and Merchandise Department in which my job is to contact sponsors to subsidize the event.

March - Jaunt Madness
There was nothing much that happened during March except for some excursions and outings with friends. However, life was getting busier and hectic as more and more assignments, projects accumulate, waiting for me to complete. Nonetheless, I've already known that engineering life isn't easy. Thus, I've received many supports and upholds from my seniors and relatives.

I may look like I have plenty of time watching movies, but it doesn't seem like that at all. Have you ever heard of this phrase? "All work no play makes Jack a dull boy". I could be serious at times when I deal with work and studies, but there are times too that I need a break from all these hectic life. Months coming up the 2011 year are getting tiring and busier.

April - Event Appetizer
I look leisure during March? Well, have a look at April. I've took part in way too many events until I couldn't have enough air to grasp. April 1st or better known as April Fool, supposed to be a day to prank others, but out of ecstasy, I was involved in this event called International Culture Night (ICN) - a night of concert where international UTP students from worldwide performing their culture in our spacious and immense Chancellor Hall. Various cultures, traditions, customs and ethnicity were outlaid and performed. It was indeed an eye-opening experience, having able to witness different races and beliefs around the world just in UTP.

Without knowing the meaning of exhausted and worn-out, I was again engaged in another event known as Electrical and Electronic Engineering Day (E3 Day) - an event organised by Electrical and Electronic Engineering Student Society (E3SS). We were entailed to spend a day with SK Si Puteh Year 6 students, teaching them English and Mathematics. Furthermore, various games and activities were also assembled and arranged for them. During this event, I had an unforgettable yarn. There was this Year 6 boy, whom I tried to communicate with since the beginning of this event - no matter how hard I tried to talk to him, his replies and responds were only 'yes' or 'no'. My heart suddenly really felt grief and sorrow for him as I realized there are many more ill-fated and unfortunate people out there in this world. Being able to study in UTP and interact well with others, I'm really thankful to my parents for raising me up so well.

Up next in this month, I was also involved in one of UTP's utmost and greatest event, Engineering Design Exhibition - the 27th Edition (EDX27). EDX27 is an event where UTP student inventors get to display their innovations and creative inventions and discoveries to be judged. Gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded to those who qualify with splendid performance. Subsequently, being in Secretariat Department, I was able to change from an introvert personal into an extrovert personal - dealing with participant details and name list which is one of my job scope when I was an executive committee of St John Ambulance during my secondary school phase.

On the same day was also the Foundation Graduation Ceremony - a ceremony where UTP students whom just passed their foundation studies received their certificate of graduation. I got my certificate declaring that I've successfully passed my foundation studies in UTP. I'm satisfied with my foundation results because I knew that I'd tried my very best in my final examinations

Up next is the last and final event that I'd engrossed in this semester - Child Provision (Child Pro) - a charity event to help unfortunate children and orphanages. Many activities were held to raise enough funds and endowments to be donated to the children. Charity night is the night where various performances were being displayed by children and artists to raise more donations.

May - Penang Ticket
Right after finishing my final examinations which marked the end of my First Year First Semester in UTP, I went to an island known as The Pearl of Orient - Penang Island with two of my friends, Kai Xian and Yee Jie. Yee Jie, whom originate from Penang agreed to allow us to stay in his house during our vacation. However, there was a predicament right a few hours before we depart to Penang via bus - I misplaced the bus tickets bought earlier!! Reluctantly, Kai Xian and I decided to buy last minute bus tickets to Penang at the Medan Gopeng bus terminal. Nevertheless, we had an enjoyable and pleasant time exploring the mouth-watering delicacies, momentous structures and places and also the stunning sea-shores of Penang Island.

June - Fostering community
In the month of June, along with my UTP friends, we were involved in this heart-warming trip to Pangkor Island. Excitements and thrills filled my heart as I'm able to approach the beaches again - this time with ladies ! On the contrary, besides visiting breathe-taking beaches, we also set out to the town of Pangkor where various local products and merchandises were sold. Above and beyond, we also visit the renowned tourist attraction temple - Fu Lin Kong Temple.

Inadvertently, during my First Year Second Semester in UTP, I was the Head of Promotion and Publication Department (HOD of PNP) of the event Dare to Dream (D2D) - an event which is similar to E3 Day which was mentioned earlier. Only dissimilarity is it's name being amended after vast discussions among the committee members. Family day is a day before a certain event held to foster and cultivate better relationships and understanding between all committee members of the event. As the HOD of PNP, my department was in-charge of photo-taking during the day to make name-tags for everyone.

July - Eventful Month
As far as I'd remember, July and August were the most hectic months of my life. Although I fell very ill and pale during these 2 months, I kept a strong mentality and stay tough. The need to continue my never-ending work, assignment, projects, test etc etc is inherent in myself with staying up additionally late, sometimes didn't doze at all to rush my tasks. I even went to schools around Batu Gajah to make appointments and introduce to their administrators about one of the event which I've joined.

D2D had finally arrive with this time, SK Jernalik was invited. During the event, my committee members were accountable for taking snapshots of the event to be generated in the closing montage by me. Sitting on the floor during the event for nearly 4 hours to produce the montage was very agonizing and aching. Nonetheless, the montage that was medley-ed by me received many praises and admiration. At least, my hard slog paid off with the splendid montage produced. Not forgetting, the D2D logo was outlined and crafted by myself

August - New Template
I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to the seniors and friends who had taught me how to use Photoshop - indeed by using Photoshop, various snapshots, pictures and words can be edited amicably just like the pictures which I'd posted here. My new template is finally up by August and many changes were seen on my blog - Doraemon themed.

Another noteworthy event which I've participated in is known as Science and Engineering Design Exhibition - 28th Edition (SEDEX28). SEDEX28 is actually the same as EDX27 mentioned earlier - only the name is changed. This time round, I was promoted as the Head of Department from Committee Member of Secretariat Department. As the HOD of Secretariat Department, my accountability and responsibilities were very high as I'm assigned multiple tasks such as going to primary schools and secondary schools around Batu Gajah to commence a new category in SEDEX28 known as Youth Inventor's Category. Of all the hard work we put in, we succeeded in convincing 4 teams from primary school category to take part. As the pioneer of the newly-formed category, it was an enormous achievement from my department for being able to run the category successfully.

September - Doraemon Diary
I am so delighted to have the same birthday month as Doraemon - 3rd September, while mine was 19th September. Anyway, September marked the end of my First Year Second Semester after finishing my final examinations, which means 4 months break from UTP! It also means the start of my movie-watching-bonanza!

Since the break is so lengthy, Kai Xian, Yee Jie and I decided to go on a vacation again. Our target this time is to conquer Melaka. Before we depart, we gathered in Ipoh - my hometown and then took the ETS to Negeri Sembilan. We spend a night roaming around Seremban before boarding a bus to Melaka, where we had blissful and jovial moments. Finally, as we parted into our separate ways, I went to KL to meet my friend.

October - Working Moment
4 months stint of semester holidays is really too much to waste, so I decided to find a job to fill in my time - work in Edwin, Greentown Mall.

November - Salary Given
November is my second working month and I got the salary from working last month. This month is mostly spent on outing and gatherings with friends. With the income I obtained, I bought myself a new smartphone - Samsung Galaxy S2.

Moreover, Ipoh Parade commemorates Children Day with Doraemon and I was there to watch it live!

December - Finale Bash
December is the month in my life that I watched movies in cinema the most. Almost RM100 were spent just to watch movie with friends. Time really passes very swiftly as 3 months of semester break had gone and it's almost the time to get back to studies.

Last but not least, my end of 2011 concluded fantastically. I celebrated 2012 New Year's Countdown with my working colleagues at William IX. This concludes my 2011 year with all the awesome things done. Let's hope 2012 will be a greater one and I wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Shirt for Working

It's almost the end of my working days. Honestly, I've been counting nowadays on how many days remaining until I can do nothing at home :P . I guess I hadn't been blogging too much about my working life since and all my posts are about going to cinemas to watch movies. I promise I will be blogging about my working life really soon, but I don't think it is the right time yet. Today, the T-shirt that I designed for my colleagues have finally arrived. It's quite expensive though, it costs RM25.

This is the designed shirt that I made. Although I know the design wasn't very professional compared to those that my friends did in UTP, I'm very satisfied with it because it is simple and memorable. It wasn't my suggestion to make the shirt at first but it was the dream of my colleagues to have a working T shirt. Now that their dreams have come true =)

I'm really glad that I didn't waste my time and talent hanging around at home doing nothing. Working is really a whole new experience and a big change in me.

Another day off from work. Well, from what I've realized, time flies! It's already the last 11 days of 2011 and my holidays are going to end soon. I've almost been working for 3 months and had known some friendly colleagues who taught me a lot of things. Best part of all is when I get salary and get to buy the things I want. I'm going to stop working soon and I'm surely going to miss my colleagues and working time. Nevertheless, one of my colleague is Kar Nee. I went with her to Jusco today to watch Alvin and the Chipmunk 3 : Chipwrecked

I've watched this much of movies this semester break! There's actually more...

After one night in UTP, I headed back to Ipoh at 9am to fetch Ivy from her house. Today, Suit Li decided to come to Ipoh to have gathering with us. Right after fetching Ivy, I went to fetch Suit Li at Medan Gopeng and had breakfast behind Jusco. We watched back to back movies - Happy Feet 2 and Petaling Street Warriors.

During Happy Feet 2, we were joined by Jessmin and during Petaling Street Warriors, we were joined by Hong Tat. After the movies, we went over to DE Garden's Wong Kok Restaurant to have our lunch before fetching everyone home.

What's amazing is that Suit Li got the same seats in the same cinema for both the movies.

Arthur Christmas

There is supposed to be an event called Electrex, Electrical and Electronic Exhibition on 7th December 2011. Initially, I've taken leave to attend the event back in UTP, but the event had been postponed to 21st December 2011 in which I got pissed off a little by this change. Nonetheless, I still returned to UTP early in the morning, had breakfast at V2 with MJ Pua and then had lunch at KFC Seri Iskandar with Charles and MJ. I also managed to visit the newly opened Tesco at Seri Iskandar which is very much smaller compared to Tesco Station 18.

Since I had decided to overnight at UTP, Charles lend his room for me to stay in. In the evening, we went over to the swimming pool to swim. I've not been swimming for a long time already and my stamina had gone down. After bathing, me, Charles, MJ and Aaron headed to Jusco for movie. We were in time to catch Arthur Christmas, although we missed out Puss in Boots. After watching movie, we headed back to UTP. Before going to sleep, me, MJ and Charles headed to Mamak for supper at around 2am.

I was watching Malaysia against Indonesia and every moment was very tensed. In the end, Malaysia beat Indonesia on penalties. The last penalty shot from Malaysia captain was very tensed! The ball was stopped by the Indonesia goalkeeper, however inflicted and rolled into the goal!

MALAYSIA retained their SEA GAMES gold medal and title which was won two years ago!

Another contented day of day-off from work. The movie "那些年，我們一起追的女孩" also known as "You are the apple of my eye" has been widely remarked and mentioned in Facebook. Everyone is debating how awesome, awe-inspiring and sweet this movie is, and I'm so tempted to watch this splendid movie from Taiwan. Hence, on this day-off, I decided to watch this movie with Kar Nee. I have already bought early bird tickets for this movie few days ago and I'm so impressed with this movie because it seriously did not let me down. The story line is fantastic and emotional sweet.

I have this OST You are the apple of my eye album. The songs are so sweet =)

This movie is about a teenage boy named Ko Teng who had a crush on this girl, Shen Chia-Yi whom also likes the boy. However, due to the boy's immaturity, their puppy love ends and the whole romantic story ends with Chia-Yi marrying another man. During Chia-Yi's wedding, the scene was so emotional with Ko Teng blessing Shen Chia-Yi happy with her husband. The story line basically rewinds how regretful Ko Teng didn't realize that Chia-Yi also loves him dearly. The plot of the story is taken from wikipedia:

The story begins in the year 1994. Shen Chia-Yi is popular among teachers and her classmates as an outstanding student and a girl to date. She is also the class representative. Only mischievous Ko Ching-Teng claims having no interest in her, despite being her classmate since junior high school. One day, the class teacher arranges Ching-Teng to sit in front of Chia-Yi after he got caught for masturbating in class.
One English lesson, Chia-Yi has not brought her textbook to class. Pitying her, Ching-Teng slips her his and confesses the teacher to not bringing the textbook. Ching-Teng then endures a long lecture and is punished. Chia-Yi, moved by his act, prepares a practice paper for Ching-Teng in return, to encourage him to work hard in his studies. She also convinces him to stay after school to study with her. Since then, their relationship grows, and Ching-Teng's grades improve.

During the Christmas season that year, the two of them go for their first unofficial date.
Ching-Teng believes that men should show their "strength" to women, so he decides to organize a duel and invites Chia-Yi to spectate. However, Chia-Yi thinks Ching-Teng is childish to hold the duel and risk injuring himself. Ching-Teng is upset that Chia-Yi doesn't appreciate his show of strength, and breaks up with her.
After their break-up, Bo-Chun dates Chia-Yi for a short time, but breaks up five months later. In the two years after their breakup, Ching-Teng does not have any contact with Chia-Yi. In the meantime, he manages to qualify for a research course at the Tunghai University upon graduation. He starts to write web novels during his time there. Ching-Teng managed to mantain contact with Chia-Yi after the 921 earthquake, when he called her to find out if she was injured.
Years later, in 2004, Chia-Yi calls Ching-Teng to tell him that she is getting married. All of her old friends gather at the wedding, joking about trying to embarrass the groom. Nevertheless, they are finally surprised that their past emotions have transformed into a profound friendship and ever calmness in their hearts. Ching-Teng also starts to write a web novel about his experiences with Chia-Yi.

Besides watching this movie today, I also watched Immortals with Kar Nee. This movie look so dirty and cruel. It is about a boy Theseus, chosen by Zeus to fight Hyperion. The whole synopsis of the story is obtained from wikipedia

The Heraklion King of Crete, Hyperion (Mickey Rourke), declares war on Olympus after the Gods fail to answer his prayers to save his family from illness, and starts searching for the Epirus Bow, a powerful weapon created by the God of War Ares (Daniel Sharman), which he intends to use to release the Titans from Mount Tartarus and destroy the gods.
Hyperion attacks several holy places in search of the Epirus Bow, and after kidnapping a virgin oracle priestess called Phaedra (Freida Pinto) to help him, advances towards a nearby village, where the young Theseus (Henry Cavill) lives with his mother. Theseus' mother conceived him after being raped, and he is thus considered a bastard and prevented from evacuating the village with its other inhabitants by the soldier Lysander (Joseph Morgan). Theseus defeats him in combat, which he was taught by an old man (John Hurt), and Lysander is discharged by his commanding officer. Infuriated, he offers his services to Hyperion.
The old man is actually Zeus (Luke Evans) in disguise. He meets with Ares, Poseidon (Kellan Lutz), Athena (Isabel Lucas), Apollo (Corey Sevier) andHeracles (Steve Byers), and tells them that they can't directly interfere with the conflict until the Titans are released from Tartarus. Meanwhile, Theseus returns to the village only to discover that Hyperion and his army have already attacked. Hyperion murders Theseus' mother in front of him and sends him to work as a slave in the mines, where Theseus befriends another prisoner, the thief Stavros (Stephen Dorff).
Phaedra has a vision of Theseus fighting Hyperion after accidentally touching him and tells Stavros to make sure Theseus is always by his side. She and the other captured oracles later start a riot, in which she, Theseus, and Stravros escape alongside other slaves. Theseus decides to go after Hyperion and the others follow him. They attack a boat filled with Hyperion's men, but are overpowered. They are however rescued when Poseidon causes a tidal wave which knocks Hyperion's men out. On their way out, Phaedra has a vision that Theseus needs to return to his village and bury his mother, which he does.
In the process, he finds the Epirus Bow, but is attacked by Hyperion's soldier, the Minotaur (Robert Maillet) while the others are attacked by soldiers. The Minotaur was warned of Theseus' presence by Lysander. Theseus finally defeats the Minotaur and rescues his allies using the Epirus Bow, before collapsing due to being poisoned by the Minotaur. Phaedra takes him to her house, where she cures him and they have sex, which causes her to lose her premonitory powers.
The group returns to Phaedra's temple, only to discover that it is filled with Hyperion's soldiers. They capture the group and steal the Epirus Bow, forcing Ares to intervene and save them. Athena comes from Olympus as well. Zeus sees this trechary, and is ready to kill Athena, but he spares her life. Ares, however, does not back down, and says that he had to do what he did. An infuriated Zeus uses a fire chain to knock Ares into the marble wall to his presumed death. Athena is able to provide horses for the group which they use to ride to Mount Tartarus which is under attack by Hyperion's forces. Hyperion releases the Titans using the Epirus Bow, and they are confronted by the Gods, while Theseus and his allies join forces with the Athenian army present.
Theseus enters the temple and fights Hyperion. He is stabbed multiple times, but is able to kill Hyperion by stabbing him in the neck before dying. Meanwhile, the Gods are overpowered by the Titans, who kill Apollo, Athena, Heracles and nearly kill Poseidon. Before Zeus returns to Mount Olympus with his dead daughter, he collapses the temple upon the Titans, killing them as well as most of Hyperion's forces, while the rest are imprisoned by the Athenians. Two beams are seen ascending to Olympus which are Zeus carrying his daughter and Poseidon. Theseus also ascends to the skies as a beam.
Theseus is welcomed into Mount Olympus by the Gods for his sacrifice, and is awarded with a son from his night with Phaedra. The boy inherits his mother's premonitions and is trained by the old man in mastering them after discovering that, in the future, there'll be a war between the Gods and the Titans, with Theseus leading the Gods in battle on Mount Olympus.

22 & 23 September

This was my first time visiting Melaka. In reality, I haven't been visiting much places around Malaysia even my own state, Perak. I have only been to Taiping, Pangkor Island and Lumut once or twice. Other than Tronoh, Batu Gajah and my very own hometown Ipoh, I hadn't visited other places in Perak. Me, Yee Jie and Kai Xian took bus to Melaka from Negeri Sembilan which was around 1hour and 30 minutes trip. We first arrived at Melaka Sentral and was lost in direction, in terms of places to visit. We decided to call our friend, Lin Kiat whom resides in Melaka.

We first visited Mahkota Parade before Lin Kiat come fetching us to Globallion Hotel, Melaka to overnight. Lin Kiat's dad paid for the full hotel fees for us. ^^

We visited Mahkota Parade in the morning, but this was taken at night =)

With Lin Kiat around, he became our tour guide and bought us around Melaka. After checking into our hotel rooms, we took a short rest before heading out for a special dinner at:

T-Bowl Restaurant. It looks like a kopitiam but everything inside is toilet based! Cool!

Right after our tremendous dinner, we headed to Dataran Pahlawan, another gigantic shopping complex in Melaka:

This concludes our 22nd September night in Melaka.

Early on 23rd September in Melaka, we went swimming! The water was very cold, chilling and freezing. We were shivering and trembling inside the water. It was my first time swimming in the morning in those freezing water, insane!

I will never try to swim again in the morning! I catch a cold after that :P

After swimming and cleaning up ourselves, we went out to have our breakfast, Dim Sum. It was very worth because I ate a lot and the food there is very nice. I couldn't remember the shop name. Before leaving Melaka,we headed to Jonker Street:

I have been experiencing a new leaf of life lately, 'working life' which seems to be a whole new different environment for me to encounter. I'll blog about my 'working life' soon, but now I wished to accomplished what I left out beforehand. It has been almost one month since my semester break trip around Seremban, Melaka and KL. I stopped posting at Seremban on my previous post because the pictures taken there were no uploaded by my friend, Yee Jie.

On 21st September 2011, we resided at Ming Mutiara Hotel, Seremban for one night and departed to Melaka in the afternoon of 22nd September 2011. Below are some pictures of our astounding vacation in Seremban.

Seremban Trip

Sorry for this late post. I was waiting for my friend to upload the photos but it turns out that he had "put on my aeroplane". Nevertheless, I'll just blog without those photos.

During this long semester break, me, Yee Jie and Kai Xian, together planned to have a trip after our exams to relax ourselves. Initially, we decided to explore Melaka, but we changed our plan to visit Negeri Sembilan for one day,as we had not been there before.

Early in the morning, Yee Jie and Kai Xian took bus from Penang and Teluk Intan respectively to meet me in Ipoh. We boarded the ETS (Electric Train Service) to Seremban which is it's last stop from Ipoh. This was my second time boarding ETS, the last time was going to KL to attend my dad's brother's wedding engagement ceremony.

We arrived Seremban in the evening. After checking into our hotels, we cruised around Seremban. However, Seremban was not up to my expectations as there were nothing much to wander around. That night, we only managed to visit Seremban Parade which is very much more dull compared to Ipoh Parade. I was thinking to buy some souvenirs there for my friends but it turns out that there is NOTHING to buy!

Soon, we left Seremban Parade to have our dinner. For the first time in my life, I had porridge with frog meat "tin kai juk". It was the most spicy porridge I ever had in my entire life! After dinner, there were nothing much for us to do. We headed back to rest and the next morning, we visited Muzium Negeri, our last stop before we headed to Melaka....

Yesterday was my birthday - 190911. My facebook wall was spammed with wishes by my beloved and close friends. Besides that, I also received a few sms and calls from my friends greeting me. Thank you to all who had sincerely wished me on my birthday. I replied every post on my facebook wall without using the copy-and- paste keys.

Well, I started my day waking up super-early-than-usual to check my facebook.

While hanging around in facebook, Pui San asked me whether I wanted to celebrate my birthday somewhere else. Initially, me and Charles would like to hang out at night, but it finally turns out that we changed our plan.

I had to go to Charles's house to fetch him. We dropped by at the railway station to drop his sister who wanted to go to KL, then we headed for Jusco.

We decided to watch Johnny English Reborn. This movie is extraordinary hilarious and I laughed non-stop throughout the whole movie featuring Roman Atkinson

Today was my first day of holiday of my 4 months break. My 1st year in UTP had officially ended with Moral Studies paper. During my 1st year, I had been matured but i also realized I lost 'something' important that I shouldn't have lost it in the first place. Let's pray for it and not explain further about it.

My Doraemon Diary ♥

Today, 101 years later, is supposed to be Doraemon's birthday. However, Doraemon came to the 20th century to help Nobita Nobi who is a lazy and sluggish boy. Doraemon is born on 3rd September 2112 and has an equal weight of 129.3kg, equal height of 129.3cm and equal body circle of 129.3cm. Besides that, his jumping height is also 129.3cm and running speed of 129.3cm per minute.

Doraemon's bearing code is MS-903 and has a 4 dimensional pocket which consists of many useful tools to help Nobita. His favourite food is Dorayaki, a Japanese treat consisting of two pancake-like patties, wrapped around a filling of sweet red bean.

Well, I started to like Doraemon when I was very young, I just couldn't remember my age at that time, approximately 7 years old? It all started when I saw the first Doraemon Long Story comic, Nobita and the Dinosaur is a bookstore and my dad bought it for me. Since then, I fell in ♥ with Doraemon and pesters my dad to buy me more comics.

Doraemon is my childhood character and I'm sure everyone of you have one.

My second last test, Network Analysis test was today and my last test would be Gamelan Group test. First year second semester is going to end and I'm still busy with a lot of stuffs.

Today, I made a very big investment which is going to Taman Maju's Secret Recipe and bought a RM75 Banana Chocolate Cake. It was Daymon's idea to buy a Secret Recipe cake for our birthday boy, Kien Ping. However, Daymon claimed that he had insufficient funds to buy the cake so I had to invest first on the cake before I can claim back. For the very first time in my life, I bought a cake! And I invested RM75 and added together with government tax, it's RM79.50!

SEDEX28 Appreciation Dinner

SEDEX28 Appreciation Dinner was held in Pocket D using Paprika Cafe with Indian Food served. Though not all committee members of Secretariat Department came, I could see the integrity of other departments with a lot of committees and officers turned up for this dinner. The event T-shirt and Certificate of Appreciation was distributed and marks the end of this semester's Science and Engineering Design Exhibition.

On the whole, I gained a lot of experience when joining this event. Besides managing my own department and fulfilling our jobscope, I also get to know how other people generate ideas on their inventions and prototypes.

Both of these days mark a meaningful day for me. SEDEX, Science and Engineering Design Exhibition is my first appointed Head of Department. Being in Secretariat Department for EDX27 as committee, I was appointed Head of Secretariat Department after undergoing an interview with my Event Manager, Yvonne earlier this semester.

On the whole, being in event division and as the head of department of Secretariat Department wasn't an easy task. This semester, I faced a much tougher task, in which I have to personally invite the primary and secondary schools around Batu Gajah and Bota to participate in a new formed category in SEDEX named Youth Inventor's Category (YIC). It was a whole new experience as I get to explore the schools around UTP and in Batu Gajah.

Towards the event, we, the Secretariat Department have to organize Participant Briefing and Participant Registrations for the selected participants of SEDEX28. There were 5 categories in total for SEDEX28 this semester, namely:

1. Engineering Team Project (ETP)
A team project consisting from 5 to 7 people with different engineering stream backgrounds. It is a compulsory project for the 3rd Year students in UTP. This category is only open to engineering stream students namely. Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Petroleum Engineering only.

2. Final Year Project (FYP)
An individual project involving final year students with all the courses background.

3. Postgraduate Research (PG)
An individual project involving post graduate students with all the courses background

4. Open Innovation Challenge (OIC)
A team or individual project in which this category is open to everyone in the university regardless of staffs or students

5. Youth Inventor's Category (YIC)
A team project involving primary and secondary school students around Batu Gajah and Bota.

Our task was to complete the full database of these participants and ensure that they provide all the necessary details. This task wasn't as easy as it seems because the participants kept changing their project titles and most are absent during the Participant Briefing and Participant Registration especially ETP category students who only send one or two representatives to check the database instead of the whole team. Our department only recognizes 100% accuracy in the database with multiples of double checking is required.

On the Day 1 of the event day, we were at the Circulation as early as 7am. Our job was to ask the participants to finalized their database before I hand them to Adjudication Department and Prizes & Souvenirs Department. The database was soon completed and our only task on that day is to act as Information Counter for participants to inquire questions.

We started Day 2 in the Circulation as well from 7.30am and our job was the same as Day 1, which is to act as Information Counter and towards the end of Day 2, we have to return the deposit which we have collected during the Participant Registration back to the participants. This concludes most of our jobscope for Secretariat Department.

Busy with tests, assignments, quizzes, projects and presentations life in UTP. I started making my very own Curriculum Vitae (CV) for some very valid reasons.

Today, I spend almost 3 hours designing my new blog template. Having learnt photoshop is a whole new different me. Last time, I used to depend only on Paint or some links in the website to design some noob photos. Now, with photoshop in my PC, I can play with the tools and design many templates. It cant be a long post. SEDEX is later and I have to be at the Circulation by 7am. Gotta sleep soon. SEDEX stands for Science and Design Engineering Exhibition. I'm the Head of Secretariat Department. Lately, many responsibilities were bestowed upon me and I can felt the stress. Nonetheless, all my events are going to end this week and I will solely focus on my academic studies soon.

This is previous semester's gold medal. It was EDX, Engineering Design Exhibition last semester, before the name is changed to SEDEX.

I have not slept for 2 days just to complete this project. I woke up until 7am waiting for sun to rise. Today, I was very happy because my Digital Electronic project of making an ATM Circuit has finally finished and succeeded. I hope my sacrifices paid off. I really hate those people who are not committed with me when making this project.

It's already the end of July. Tomorrow will be the 1st of August and my Digital Electronic project is still pending. Somehow, I'm too tired to do anything especially thinking and even talking. I like staying in my room alone rather than going out walking here and there. Yesterday night, after the event, I went to KFC with Charles, MJ and Ming Heng. We stayed there until around 10pm chatting a lot of stuffs which makes me realize the world is not small! There are many things that are big happening around us.

Today I woke up extremely late knowing that I'm extremely fatigue last night. There was nothing much that I did today except tidying up myself. Event was only yesterday and I was re-watching the closing montage the whole day for like hundred of times.

Since, there's nothing much to post about today. I would like to post how the logo of Dare to Dream was created.

There were a lot of changes before the logo was finalized.

The first 4 designs. Many comments were received including:

1. The rainbow color makes people dizzy

2. It looks like a recycling logo

Finally, the event which I've been waiting for has arrived. It's actually the same event which was held last semester, E3 day, in which I was in logistic department as committee. This time round, I was the Head of Promotion and Publication Department. The event went smoothly with arrival of the students from SK Jenalik. My committees, Siew San, Charles, Kelvin and Puisan were in-charged of taking photos and helping out in the event.

Throughout the whole event, I made the closing ceremony montage with all the photos that my committees gathered. The closing montage was one of the best which I've created.

Another day has gone. I skipped today's tutorial and woke up in the afternoon. The only class I went was moral class which I didn't listen to what the lecturer is crapping at all.

Tomorrow will be Dare to Dream's BIG day. As the Head of Promotion and Publication Department, below are the list of things that have been done:

I think i should stop complaining about tiredness. I cried alone with tears dropping out within my heart. I felt the pressure was too much. I'm getting exhausted and sick. It might be due to the durian feast I had yesterday.

How come I can't trust my friends?
I hate being used by people when doing projects. I, myself has high enthusiasm when doing something. I do not chase for perfect-ness but as long as I had tried my best, it is sufficient. Seeking a BFF. *Traumatic*

How come I can't rely on them?
As the Head of SEDEX28 Secretariat Department, I was in-charge of the Youth Inventor's Category. There should be ambassadors going to the primary schools to help me collect the registration forms. However, this is kept delaying and even the person-in-charge from Invitation Department asked me to call the ambassador's myself! It was suppose to be their department's job but wanted me to do it instead. *Unhappy*

How come there are *kiasu* people?
Today, as I went to V3 cafe to settle SEDEX28 Academic Clubs participation - Icheme. I saw my department member. He was sitting with his debate friends. I called his name, despite thrice and loudly, he ignored me while just in front of me, pretending didn't saw me. Of course I was furious that time, due to his *kiasu*ness and ego-ness! I just wanted to talk to him for 2 minutes asking him to settle the registration form of a YIC team. Although he responded to me after I shouted at him, he claimed that he is *very busy* and unable to talk to me. What sarcastic attitude is he showing to his Head of Department and his batch-mate? Even though, I asked him to update me by Friday about the YIC school, I knew he wont because this is not the first time he neglected my orders. Hey, if you are not interested to be in my department, please quit the department! I don't need kiasu and ego committees like you! *Furious*

I miss my sling bag. That sling bag is big enough to put my laptop and books. I wanted it cloth based not PVC =(

It's already 27th of July without realizing it. Time passes so swiftly and I still playing the fool around and complaining tiredness to myself. I can actually save a lot of time if I hadn't been so lazy-minded all this while.

Nonetheless, today I went to Taman Maju again to make a nametag for a Dare to Dream committee which I left out. Since there is pasar malam there, we decided to buy our dinner as well. Charles mentioned that today was a special day for her girlfriend, and thus we bought durian to celebrate. I myself bought some longans for myself. With that we had our durian feast as our dinner.

I had been having "Tuesday blues" all this while. This is due to class as early as 8am in the morning and ending at 5pm in the evening. With more event meetings after the classes, a dreadful day among the weekdays would best be used to sum up my entire day. Today was my SEDEX department committee's birthday. I was involved in it somehow because I was asked to delay my meeting just for others to prepare and celebrate her birthday.

My days are numbered. I've been neglecting a lot of things currently. I used to tell myself to stay strong and be positive. Assignments and projects are surrounding my daily routine and yet I've not single touched them at all. Let's say for example, making an ATM Machine using Digital Electronic components. I already have the idea, but I've not started on it at all. I'm having a hectic life with classes early in the morning every single weekday.

You know what? I always wanted to hug a person. However, I don't think I'll ever have the chance ever again. What is the need to hug a person?. Well, hugging a person makes you feel protected and not alone. You can feel the warmth and truthfulness when a person is hugging and the all the tense is shared.

Life is just like a candle. When all the lid on the wax is completed burnt out, a life is gone. One should treasure what's around before it's too late. Regrets in life, although mistakes are unavoidable, we should stay strong and move on in our life. I once lost someone I treasured the most, but I let off because of self indulgence and recklessness. How silly I am! Can time ever be turned back? I hope I never had said those words that crushed your heart. The next girl that I going to love, I'm seriously going to love deeply. Humans learnt from mistakes and have faith in their hearts when they promise something. I'm going to have this faith and never going to let the fire in my heart extinguish, ever!

Well, today I was shocked to receive news about the death of my friend's mother. She was actually my committee. Deepest condolence to her and her family - Irene. It first turned out that I don't know Irene was back to Sarawak to visit her sicken mother. It was only when I met my another friend, Wan Fang and she told me so. I thought everything was fine until yesterday I saw people writing condolences on Irene's facebook wall. With my high observations, I knew something was wrong and soon I found out the truth. Life is fragile. We can lose someone we love any second in our life. I'd now learnt to treasure the people around me. Life is never like HAPPY TREE FRIENDS! Characters in our real life might die horribly but they don't reincarnate! Stay strong and believe within, friends are always around to assist and care. Angels does exists, it's just that they exists in a form that is not realized by us.

I started watching Resident Evil because someone introduced it to me last year. I still missed that moment when someone asked me to watch Resident Evil 4 - Afterlife. The movie was filled with action packed scenes of killing zombies. T VIRUS is the virus that started all these catastrophes. Whenever someone was bitten or even scratched by the zombies, the person will immediately be infected by the virus and will die eventually. Once they are dead, they will turn into zombies and the cycle of zombies-killing-humans continued. Zombies are senseless beings and the only way to kill them is to damage their brain or spinal cord severely, in which we must 'head shot' the zombies.

Today, I watched Resident Evil - Degeneration. This movie is an animated one without the original main character - Alice. The 2 main characters of this movie is Leon and Claire. This movie sees how they know the truth of the T virus, trying to find the antidote and save the survivors from being chucked by dead zombies.

I have 2 labs today which starts from 8am. Since the Dare to Dream event is near, and I have to rush for the opening and closing montage. I decided to spend my sleeping time making the montage. Started doing it from 2am to 5am. Slept only around 2 hours, then went to labs.

Another day has passed and the T shirt design of Dare to Dream is still not finalized. One more week to go before the event. *Rushing*

My happiest time of the day would be getting back my Microelectronic Test 1 paper. I'd never expect to get such high marks as I always did badly in the quizzes. What's excite me more is when I was arguing for 1 mark extra and my lecturer gave me 3 marks extra due to a question which seems to be marked wrongly. *Happy*

As I was expecting a quiz in Network Analysis, my lecturer gave me a group assignment instead. I'm planning to do it with Ban Siong on Sunday after we come back from Ipoh. *Last Minute*

After my Gamelan class, I went to Taman Maju with Charles, Siew San, Pui San and Suk Xuan for dinner. After collecting the name tags and certificates, we headed to Mamak for our bizarre dinner, Maggi Goreng!. I ate 2 and a half plate of Maggi Goreng. All was paid by Pui San because I treated her Pasar Malam food the other day. My 'calculator spoil' trick doesn't work! Thanks Pui San =)

I used today to recharge myself. 2pm to 6pm's class was cancelled. I even had time to go to Pasar Malam with Charles, Siew San, Kelvin and Daymon. We had our joyous moment there with our tummy starving for all the mouth-watering delicacies sold there.

The reason I asked Charles to fetch me to Taman Maju is because I had to go to Fuji Film and ready Dare to Dream's certificate and name tag. The process needs one day so I'm going back tomorrow to collect the name tags and certificates. Besides that, my last semester's E3 day certificate was printed wrongly, thus as the Head of Department of Promotion and Publication this time round, I printed my own certificate and had to return to my senior to put in all the necessary details.

Life as an EE student

EE stands for Electrical and Electronic Engineering in UTP, often pronounced as a short form for the courses offered here. No doubt, EE could be the hardest course in UTP because I myself is experiencing the hectic and tension life studying the subjects. Facing with electronic components and electric circuits everyday does tingle up my nerves. My classes are usually from 8am to 5pm daily with maximum only 2 hours break in between. That's not all, the venue of my classes are different with every subject. One moment my class is here, the other moment, I have to walk about 10 minutes to another location for another class, which makes me super lethargic. Most of the time, "brancher" (breakfast, lunch and dinner) could be my only meal of the day.

Microelectronic, Digital Electronic and Network Analysis are my 3 core subjects this semester, not including Moral Studies, Vector Calculus and Gamelan. I have always give high expectations to myself. Sometimes, I really hope to have someone by my side talking to me, and sharing my problems, preferably a 'girl' whom I can trust and wont use me as a DOLL! But maybe I could be your teddy bear to be hugged. ^^v Nonetheless, let's get back to the point. My Microelectronic classes are all early in the morning. As soon as I woke up, I only have ample time to prepare for the class, excluding eating breakfast. This goes on everyday during weekdays. I really hope to taste real breakfast again, such as 'Wantan Mee'.

Problems I faced regarding the 3 core subjects
1. Microelectronic - Class early in the morning. Without having breakfast, I have to rush to class and the lecturer is super boring. We never really understand what is he teaching, but nodded to pretend that we understand so that he ends his class and we can all go back and sleep

2. Digital Electronic - This subject is super simple, but the project of making a Withdrawal ATM Machine makes me stressed up. I have to brainstorm on it. Whenever we are in a team, we should work together, NOT just relying on one person. When the ONE PERSON feels stressed out, the partner should comfort him, talk to him and makes him feel that he's not alone. He has a TEAMMATE after all!

3. Network Analysis - This subject is actually the continuation of Circuit Theory from Semester 1. Our beloved lecturer went to Russia for 2 weeks and he intends to replace 4 hours of lectures on every Wednesday.

Well, after reading all my bullshits. All EE's in UTP out there, please dun get frustrated, angry or blame me or intend to leave ur EE dream. I'm just complaining that I'm super tired and just voicing out my feelings. To tell you the truth, I have 3 event Head of Departments. This is why I'm super tired! I just need someone who is willing to talk to me. =)

Nonetheless, this is not my real intention of blogging. I wanted to promote something, which is E3SS Club, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Student Society. I saw this page in http://e3ss.my/home/. They used my two photos which i took during Foundation Dean's List Ceremony. Is this called plagiarism? No hard feelings. Just asking opinions.

My initial plan was to use UTP's Pavillion, however it was used by someone else earlier for BBQ.
I went to the Lecture Hall, which was my plan B. To my surprise, one of the lecture hall's door was not locked.
We used Lecture Hall 1 illegally since there were no guards patrolling the area at that moment.

4 days of Mid Sem Break started and I played games till 5am. Then, me and Charles head to schools for our field trip.

We went to SK St Bernadette's Convent. Explain about the event and we left

For Science and Engineering Design Exhibition (SEDEX28), I'm the Head of Department of Secretariat

I was in-charge to promote the Youth Inventor Category competition to primary and secondary schools around UTP.
Thus, today me, Charles and Eevon went to the schools around UTP.

1. Our first stop was SK Siputeh.
The school was having holiday today, but when we arrived there, we saw the headmistress's Mercedes Benz. I didn't know who was the headmistress at that moment. When i saw some lazy cleaning and fixing the cement stage near a pavilion in the school, i went near to ask a lady where is the office because i wanted to discuss some matters with the headmistress. I was shocked when she said she was the headmistress. And thus we went to the office and discuss the matter

2. Out of direction to SMK SULTAN YUSSUF
We were out of directions after visiting the first school. When we went further into Batu Gajah, we saw some school students coming out from a junction. We follow the direction and to our surprise, we found SMK Sultan Yussuf. We had problems finding the front gate, as the guard at the back gate does not allow us to enter. We round for very long but still couldn't find the gate. Thus, we gave up and went the other road out.

3. And we found SMK ST BERNADETTE'S CONVENT
I never expect the school would be there. Since we had time, we went to the school. The school is exactly beside a GRAVEYARD where students can see the tombstones clearly everyday, creepy >.<''..I went into the office hoping to find the teacher in charge which my committee called earlier. I asked a teacher in the office to show me who is Puan Norashikin. To my surprise, SHE WAS PUAN NORASHIKIN!!! Lol, DeJaVu??? But it was rest time at the moment. So we head to KFC for lunch before going back to St Bernadette's Convent to discuss the matter with Penitia Sains. She looked very interested as she already has 2 teams. I handed her the invitation letter. She asked me who is the person in charge on the invitation letter, which was ME!. She repeated asking who is the person, when will he come, and what will he do when he come?. WHAT HAPPEN TO ME TODAY? The person in charge on the invitation letter was me! LOLz... Soon, we left. =)

4. We saw the entrance to SMK SULTAN YUSSUF!
So, we went to back to the school only to find that the teachers are having break. Since i have to rush back to UTP for Moral Presentation. That concludes our visit to schools. =)

Day 3 is the continuation of Day 2. Since yesterday was Wesak Day, we decided not to go Kek Lok Si Temple because we knew it would be crowded.

- Woke up quite late, 9 something. Today we had to go to Penang Island ourselves because both Yee Jie's parents have to work. Took the ferry to Penang Island

- Eat the famous Penang Laksa and visited Kek Lok Si Temple

Day 2 is a very tiring day. We did lots of stuffs which I don't normally managed to do in Ipoh.

Day 2 : May 17 2011 (Tuesday)
- Woke up at 7am which is quite early because the other night, we were playing pokemon till late at night
- Went over to Penang Island using the Penang Bridge with Yee Jie's dad touring us around.
- Had our breakfast. I ate Loh Mee.

Lost Bus Ticket to Penang Island - Day 1

As soon as my Year 1 Semester 1 in UTP ended, I planned a trip to Penang with two of my friends, Kai Xian and Yee Jie. Since, Yee Jie is from Butterworth, so we decided to stay over at his house instead of hotels. Initially, I bought two bus tickets to Penang, however just 1 hour before boarding the bus, I found out that I lost the bus ticket. >< How careless am I! Anyway, we managed to broad another bus to Penang

Day 1 : May 16 2011 (Monday)
- Started off with Kai Xian coming to my house from UTP
- Brought him to Tesco Station 18

- Then, we broaded the bus to Butterworth

- Reached Sungai Juru around 6pm with Yee Jie's dad fetching us to his house and had a seafood dinner feast

- Nightime: Did planning on the places that we are going to visit and went to the beach

- End of Day 1 : My camera was kinda blur though. Don't know why? But it got better the next day :)

My first year first semester at Universiti Teknologi Petronas has just ended

1. Soaring The Eagle
A self-development camp at PERMATA, Bangi, KL

2. Event Management Seminar
An event management seminar. I was in Ceremony and Protocol Department

3. Red Sonata - Summervaganza
An event organized by UTP Chinese Orchestra. I was in Sponsorship and Merchandise Department.

4. International Cultural Exhibition
This is a culltural sub-event for International Cultural Night. I was in Chinese Street Exhibition Department

5. International Cultural Night
It is an event where international students from respective countries performing their own cultures. I was in Sponsorship Department

6. E3 Day - Electrical and Electronic Engineering Day
A small event where we invite primary school students from Tronoh to be taught by us. I was in Logistic Department

7. EDX27 - Engineering Design Exhibition 27
An engineering design exhibition and competition. I was in Secretariat Department

8. ChildPro 2011
A charity event with a concert. I was in Welfare and Souvenir Department

EDX27 and Foundation Graduation

I felt that I'm totally insane taking so many events in UTP until i nearly skipped my Differential Equation quiz which carries 1% of my coursework marks.

Anyway, EDX27 stands for Engineering Design Exhibition 27 which falls on 13 & 14 April 2011
I was in Secretariat Department and have to stay at circulation whole event which act as information counter.

Watched Mars Needs Moms at JJ today

It was about an adventure of a boy, named Milo who had his mum kidnapped by Martians from Mars. Martians needs to extract the memory from Milo's mother so that they can install it into their nanny-bots to take care of babies from Mars. Together with Gribble, a human friend Milo met in Mars who also had his mum kidnapped and Ki, an alien from Mars who find out that Mars is actually does have families long ago, Milo strive to save his mother.

Went to Jusco, Ipoh to watch "I am number 4".

John is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed ... he is Number Four.

There were 9 who escaped

Number 1 was killed in Malaysia

Number 2 was murdered in England

Number 3 was hunted down in Kenya

Now it is up to Number 4 to survive from those who wanted to kill him

After that, i went to DE Garden for dinner.
