'Kuiz St John..'

On the 27th of July, the 'Kuiz St John' was organised at the Headquarters. Our school was represented by Donivald Tham, Eric Ewe, Teoh Jia Heng, Cham Swee Wen and me. Only 8 teams participated in the cadet category First we were up against SMJK Perempuan Perak (PGS)and we won against them. Next we fought SMJK Ayer Tawar, Manjung but unfortunately we lost by one mark. The 3rd placing was decided between us and SMK Jalan Pasir Puteh (JPP). Finally, we won the 3rd place because we had the higher marks during the semi-final clash compared to them. Although we couldn't win, we still managed to make our school proud by getting third. i hope that the next board will win this 'kuiz' in the incoming years

FlaG DaY Driv3 08!!

This year's St John Flag Day Drive falls on the 12th of July 2008. As usual we all have to sell stickers and collect money to help the one's in need. I was the one who incharge of this event. We took 500 car stickers which was RM2 each and managed to sell all so the amount collected was RM1000 for the car stickers. We also took 800 motor stickers which was RM1 each but we managed to sold 640 motors stickers only so the amount collected was RM640. Overall the total amount of stickers sold was RM1640. During the official Flag Day Drive which was on the 12th of July 2008, only 20 members turn up on this event to go out to the streets to ask for donations because our school principal does not allow Form1 & Form2 members to go out. At the end of the day we managed to collect RM594.10 for the donations of the Flag Day Drive. Anyway, a special thanks to all who really participate fully in this event. Although the amount collected is less compared to other schools, we should be proud that we had help the ones in needs
