Visit to Albert Dock, Liverpool

17th of November 2013

After visiting Anfield, I head to Albert Dock, one of the main attractions in Liverpool. Besides Anfield, Liverpool is also famous for its Merseyside views and structures. Around the port, I managed to witness the Beatles Museum, The Liverpool Big Wheel and Royal Liver Building.

Anfield Stadium Tour in Liverpool

17th of November 2013

As a Liverpool fan from Malaysia, being able to visit Anfield for once is like a dream come true. Anfield has been the home of Liverpool FC since 1891. Never had I thought that one day I'll be able to visit Anfield for at least once in my life. Besides going for the stadium tour around the grounds, I also manage to buy myself a customized 2013-2014 Home Jersey.

Old Trafford, the Theatre of Dreams

16th of November 2013

Today, I've got the opportunity to visit one of the places that I would love to visit when I come to England, which is Old Trafford, Manchester. Although I not really a Manchester United fan, I'm glad being able to visit one of the historical grounds of Manchester United football fans. I've also manage to purchase a Van Persie jerzey for my dad and some other souvenirs. Another tick on my to-do-list.

Batman in Nottingham

9th of November 2013

I got the opportunity to visit one of the places which I've wanted to go since I'm able to come to England - Wollaton Hall, the manor in which Dark Knight Rises was filmed. It was also the day, in which Nottingham University is hosting the Malaysian Nottingham Games. I was able to meet my high school prefectorial senior, Jia Ee. The games held were great and I could meet a lot of Malaysian students who came to study abroad.

Halloween in Warwick Castle

2nd of November 2013

Halloween was supposed to be the 31st of October 2013, but there were still celebrations in Warwick Castle. The entrance into the castle was £29, and to be honest, I didn't really enjoy the celebrations despite paying so much. I was shocked when the actual person who actually wanted to go to this castle didn't make enough preparations to get things going. Anyway, I was glad that in the end, overcoming frustrations of bad planning, I managed to witness all the activities available except the very first one, which is Raising of the Portcullis. There were also Halloween decorations which were merely Pumpkin Heads and Scarecrows along the gardens of the castle. The castle views and sightings were fascinating, there were also dungeons and ghost houses.

My first Wonders of the world - Stonehenge

19th of October 2013

Now I could tick one of my to-do-list in England as I've visited one of the Ancient Wonders of the World - Stonehenge. This is my first time visiting a wonder of the world heritage spot and its indeed a good start. It is still unknown how people move the huge bunch of rocks around, but it is indeed very fascinating to be able to see the on the spot. The entrance to see the rocks cost me £8.

Intern at Mercedes AMG F1 team

1st October 2013

Intern in Mercedes AMG F1 have officially started. Life in England was great, it's only that the weather was a bit cold. I got to meet up with most of my department workers. People in England are very friendly and helpful, unlike people in Malaysia.
